My name is Julie Carman. I am an educator passionate about creating student-centered, equitable, and inclusive classrooms that help all students grow personally and academically. I believe that learning through literature and writing allows students to examine experiences they may not otherwise have, and helps build strong and empathetic life-long inquirers.

 

This portfolio is a collection and showcase of my experiences as an educator and a student in the Master of Arts of Education program at Michigan State University.
